Mike Mullen is chief operating officer at Bear Cognition, where he oversees the execution of AI-driven automation systems inside mission-critical operations. He specializes in turning fragmented, manual workflows into scalable, outcome-driven systems that deliver measurable ROI within months. As a key architect of Bear Cognition’s Software with a Service (SwaS®) model, Mike ensures technology adoption translates into real performance gains—not shelfware. He has learned firsthand how unforgiving modern supply chains can be when margins are tight, visibility is limited, and disruptions carry significant financial consequences. With more than 20 years of experience in transportation and logistics, he has led large-scale operational organizations serving thousands of customers across complex networks.

Prior to Bear Cognition, Mike served as Chief Operating Officer of the largest independent affiliate of Worldwide Express Global Logistics, overseeing operations across 11 states and more than 5,000 clients while expanding freight, analytics, and consulting capabilities.
